Demands on the products and technologies of the coming generations are changing fundamentally. At the same time, the complexity of development topics and aspects is constantly increasing. In order to be able to achieve the goals regarding competitiveness, sustainability and innovation in the future, completely new development processes are necessary.
Under this premise, M.TEC ENGINEERING GmbH participates in the Center for Systems Engineering at RWTH Aachen University. The CSE as part of the RWTH Aachen Campus pursues the goal of developing and holistically testing the necessary key technologies for the product development process of tomorrow. This includes, among other things, the networking of development steps and the development tools used as a basis for the complete digitalization and automation of the model-based development of technical systems, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
M.TEC develops AI-based optimization methods as part of project work for customers and in research projects. In plastics engineering, M.TEC already offers its customers M.OPT warpage: AI-based warpage optimization as a verified development tool, which is an optimization method for critical plastic components. Networking as a member of the Center for Systems Engineering is a logical conclusion for M.TEC as part of its orientation towards increasingly model-based product development.
