Cookies

The Internet pages partly use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit us.

You can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and to allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. shopping basket function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of his services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analysing your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this data protection declaration.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

Browser type and browser version
Operating system used
Referrer URL
Host name of the accessing computer
Time of the server request
IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is thus exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal notification by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out up to the time of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data entered by you in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to its storage or the purpose for which it was stored ceases to apply (e.g. after your enquiry has been processed).

Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

5. Newsletter

Newsletter2Go

This website uses Newsletter2Go to send newsletters. The provider is Newsletter2Go GmbH, Nürnberger Straße 8, 10787 Berlin, Germany.

Newsletter2Go is a service that can be used to organize and analyze the dispatch of newsletters. The data you enter for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter is stored on the servers of Newsletter2Go in Germany.

If you do not want to receive an analysis from Newsletter2Go, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose we provide a corresponding link in every newsletter message. You can also unsubscribe directly on the website.

Data analysis by Newsletter2Go

With the help of Newsletter2Go it is possible for us to analyze our newsletter campaigns. For example, we can see whether a newsletter message was opened and which links were clicked on, if any. In this way we can determine, among other things, which links were clicked on particularly often.

We can also see whether certain previously defined actions were carried out after opening/clicking (conversion rate). For example, we can see whether you have made a purchase after clicking on the newsletter.

Newsletter2Go also allows us to subdivide ("cluster") the newsletter recipients by different categories. Thereby the newsletter recipients can be divided e.g. by age, gender or place of residence. This way the newsletter can be better adapted to the respective target groups.

Detailed information about the functions of Newsletter2Go can be found on the following link: https://www.newsletter2go.de/features/newsletter-software/

Legal basis

The data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

Storage period

The data you provide us with for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from our servers as well as from the servers of Newsletter2Go after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data that has been stored for other purposes (e.g. email addresses for the member area) remain unaffected.

You can find more details in the data protection regulations of Newsletter2Go at: https://www.newsletter2go.de/features/datenschutz-2/

Conclusion of a contract for commissioned data processing

We have signed a contract with Newsletter2Go in which we commit Newsletter2Go to protect the data of our customers and not to pass it on to third parties. This contract can be viewed under the following link: https://www.newsletter2go.de/docs/datenschutz/ADV_Muster_Newsletter2Go_GmbH_latest_Form.pdf

6. Information under Article 13 of the basic data protection regulation for applicants (valid from 25 May 2018)

Compliance with data protection regulations is a high priority for our company. In the following we would like to inform you about the collection of your personal data by us:

Responsible body

M.TEC Ingenieurgesellschaft für kunststofftechnische Produktentwicklung mbH, to which you have applied, is responsible for data collection and processing.

Data we require

During the application process, we process data from you that we need in the context of the application. This may include contact details, all data related to the application (CV, certificates, qualifications, answers to questions, etc.) and, if applicable, bank details (to reimburse travel expenses). The legal basis for this results from § 26 of the Federal Data Protection Act.

Data deletion

If there is no legal retention period, the data will be deleted as soon as storage is no longer required or the legitimate interest in storage has ceased. If no recruitment takes place, this is regularly the case no later than six months after completion of the application procedure. In individual cases, individual data may be stored for a longer period (e.g. travel expense accounting). The duration of the storage then depends on the legal storage obligations, e.g. from the German Fiscal Code (6 years) or the German Commercial Code (10 years). If you have not been hired, but your application is still of interest to us, we will ask you whether we may keep your application for future vacancies.

Confidential treatment of your data

Your data will of course be treated confidentially and will not be transferred to third parties outside M.TEC GmbH. If necessary, we use service providers who are strictly bound by instructions and who support us, e.g. in the areas of EDP or the storage and destruction of documents, and with whom we have concluded separate contracts for order processing.

Your data protection rights

As a data subject, you have the right of access to the personal data concerning you and the right to have incorrect data corrected or deleted if one of the reasons mentioned in Art. 17 DSGVO applies, e.g. if the data are no longer needed for the purposes pursued. There is also the right to restrict processing if one of the conditions set out in Art. 18 DSGVO applies, as well as in the cases set out in Art. 20 DSGVO the right to data transferability. Every data subject has the right to appeal to a supervisory authority if he/she believes that the processing of data relating to him/her is in breach of data protection provisions. The right of complaint may be exercised in particular by a supervisory authority in the state in which the data subject resides or works, or in the state in which the suspected infringement is committed.

You also have the right to contact our data protection officer at any time, who is bound to secrecy with regard to your inquiry. The contact details of our data protection officer are as follows:
