The K fair from 16th to 23rd October 2019 with the first appearance of M.TEC Ingenieurgesellschaft für kunststofftechnische Produktentwicklung has come to an end and will remain in the best memory of all participants. M.TEC presented itself as the latest addition of the Feddersen Group to the international audience and showed how the Group's portfolio is excellently complemented by engineering services for product development of plastic parts and components.
The participation proved to be an utter success for the Aachen-based engineering service provider: The Feddersen Group's stand at the fair was well attended throughout, resulting in numerous productive discussions, interesting contacts and follow-up appointments.
The internationally oriented K fair, which takes place every three years, features over 3000 exhibitors from 60 nations and presents the entire spectrum of the plastics and rubber industry. For this year's "Hot Topics" of the fair M.TEC was well equipped. For example, the company is driving forward digitalization and innovation in the plastics industry, in particular by using the digital twin in warpage optimization, which employs artificial intelligence to turn problems with component warpage into a thing of the past. In addition to innovation, however, it is in particular the many years of experience in holistic product development in combination with wide-ranging expertise in all aspects of the subject that represents the unique selling proposition for M.TEC.
Product development with intelligent engineering, as offered by the service provider, stands for efficiency in the use of resources and time and therefore fits perfectly into the zeitgeist of the industry. The engineering company with a strong in-house simulation department and interdisciplinary teams is, among other things, an expert in lightweight construction in product development, e-mobility, light integration and all kinds of optimization services in plastics technology. M.TEC operates cross-industry with specific market knowledge in the automotive, medical technology and household appliance sectors. Thanks to the profound know-how of the engineers regarding the material behavior of plastics and their processing methods up to industrialization, K 2019 with its diverse range of exhibitors and visitors offered the ideal opportunity to present this holistic portfolio. All in all, the K trade fair proved to be an ideal opportunity for M.TEC to establish new contacts and consolidate existing ones.
